Kate's Caring Gifts Announces 2nd Annual Eco-Poetry Contest (the last one was 5 years ago)

PR Log (Press Release) – Feb 21, 2010 – Fremont, CA. Kate’s Caring Gifts (www.KatesCaringGifts.com) , a leading online supplier of Organic and Eco-Friendly gifts, today announced our second annual environmental poetry contest. The winners of this contest will be announced on Earth Day 2010.

The contest contains two categories: Best Environmental Limerick, and Best Environmental Haiku. In each category, there is a first prize of a $100 gift certificate and a second place prize of a $50 gift certificate.

The last time Kate’s Caring Gifts ran this contest was 2005. Kate Amon, President and Founder talked about it. “We created the contest because we wanted to do something that was fun, and a little unusual. We really didn’t know what kind of response to expect. When the entries came in, we were amazed. They were beautiful, funny, and thought provoking. We were thrilled, and we knew we had to do this again, we just didn’t think it would take us five years”

Contestants may enter both categories, and may submit as many unique entries as they wish. Finalists are chosen by Kate’s Caring Gifts, Winners will be selected by the vote of visitors to KatesCaringGifts.com, and announced on Earth Day, 2010.
