This is Elli Grace, the exciting new designer shop where the fresh and flirty fare is crafted right there on site in Plano’s upscale Willowbend Mall, where it will celebrate its grand opening on June Friday, 26, 2009.
The Elli Grace designer-original fashion line and boutique are the creations of the design team of Sue Yang and Lamarr Nanton, a duo that brings strong pedigrees to their new retail venture.  
Nanton boasts 19 years in apparel design and development, honing his impeccable tailoring, tone and topography skills at Giorgio Armani, JC Penney and Manuel Designs.  The St. Croix, Virgin Island native is a font of creativity, having played trumpet in jazz, reggae and rock bands and won acclaim for his artistic sensibilities as a painter as well.  
Yang, who hails from Seoul, South Korea, graduated from New York’s prestigious Parson School of Design, then cut her design teeth at Donna Karan and Manuel Designs exhibiting an rare combination of forward-looking vision and practical “wearability”.
“This store is a relatively new concept for the North Dallas/Plano area,” said Mr. Nanton. “The offerings here represent a fusion of timeless touches updated with a contemporary cut.  And the icing on the cake is that it all comes in at a price point that will surprise a lot of folks given the high quality custom design features.”
“We really did go the extra mile in putting these concepts together,” said Ms. Yang. “Professional young women want to be prudent in these tough economic times, but they still demand quality, uniqueness and clothing designed to flatter and flirt.  That’s what they get with Elli Grace.”
